Electric doorbell with 1 melody 8V 79dB white BELL DNT-206

Electromechanical bell ZAMEL Traditional, model DNT-206, with a metal bell size f76 mm. The doorbell is intended for use in indoor areas that are equipped with an 8 VAC bell installation.

Installation instructions:

• It is recommended that the bell be installed by a qualified person.
• The installation should be carried out using a cable with a cross-section of 0.5 sq.mm to 2.5 sq.mm with insulation voltage min. 300/500 V and type appropriate for the conditions of use.
• The bell can only be powered with a voltage reduced to 8 V AC using an external transformer 230/8 V AC.
• The phase conductor of the bell installation should be protected from the consequences of short circuits and overloads by means of an automatic circuit breaker or a fuse (fuse) with an appropriately selected characteristic and rated current value.
• Before starting work on connecting the installation, you should switch off the 230 V AC voltage supplying the bell installation. With the help of a suitable measuring device, you should make sure that there is no voltage in the bell installation.
• Using a flathead screwdriver, pry up the tab on the bell cover and remove it.
• Determine the mounting location of the bell on the wall and drill two holes corresponding to the mounting holes in the base of the bell. Insert dowels into the holes.
• Through the hole in the base of the bell, pull the cables of the bell installation and attach the base by driving screws into the dowels prepared earlier. Next up
• pay attention to the correct attachment of the base of the bell, in particular its vertical position.
• Strip the insulation from the ends of the bell installation cables to a length of 10 mm and connect them to the appropriate terminals.
• Install the bell cover and switch on the 230 V AC power supply to the bell installation.
• Check the operation of the bell by pressing the bell button.
• If necessary, adjust the volume by turning the bell cup.
