ZAMEL electromechanical doorbell, model DNS-911/N, intended for use in indoor spaces that are equipped with a bell installation with a voltage of 220 VAC.

Installation instructions:

• It is recommended that the bell be installed by a qualified person.
• The installation should be carried out using a cable with a cross-section of 0.5 sq.mm to 2.5 sq.mm with insulation voltage min. 300/500 V and type appropriate for the conditions of use.
• The bell is powered by 230 V AC from the mains.
• The phase wire of the bell installation should be protected from the consequences of short circuits and overloads by means of an automatic disconnector or a fuse (fuse) with an appropriately selected characteristic and rated current value.
• Before starting work on connecting the installation, you should switch off the 230 V AC voltage supplying the bell installation. With the help of a suitable measuring device, you should make sure that there is no in the bell installation
• tension.
• Using a flathead screwdriver, pry up the tab on the bell cover and remove it.
• Determine the mounting location of the bell on the wall and drill two holes corresponding to the mounting holes in the base of the bell. Insert dowels into the holes.
• Through the hole in the base of the bell, pull the wires of the bell installation and attach the base by driving screws into the dowels prepared earlier. You should pay attention to the correct attachment of the base of the bell, and in particular to its vertical position.
• Strip the insulation from the ends of the 10 mm bell installation cables and connect them to the appropriate terminals.
• Install the bell cover and switch on the 230 V AC power supply to the bell installation.
• Check the operation of the bell by pressing the bell button.
• If necessary, adjust the pitch of the bell. The adjustment should be carried out with the 230 V AC supply voltage of the bell installation switched off and after removing the bell cover. If necessary (further need to adjust the pitch of the sound) , the actions should be repeated. The factory setting is the maximum ringer pitch.
