SADOLIN Hardwood Oil is suitable for clean surfaces, as well as for elements that have been treated with other protective agents and have not formed a protective film.
The surface must be cleaned of grease, dust or other contaminants.
Woods high in resin and oil, such as teak, iroko, etc., should be degreased before applying SADOLIN Hardwood Oil. When protecting soft
wood that is exposed to external conditions, it is desirable in advance to
treated with Sadolin Base. The coating must be well dried before using the impregnator.When applying the oil, any areas of the surface where SADOLIN Hardwood Oil is not absorbed are removed. This can be done with the help of a soft towel. This procedure will ensure an even matte surface without "shiny" areas. Maximum strength is achieved with at least two coats of SADOLIN Hardwood Oil.
The colorless version of the product is less resistant than the color version. For optimal surface maintenance, it is desirable to apply at least one coat of SADOLIN Hardwood Oil each year. The consumption rate of the impregnator is from 15 to 18 sq. M./L., On already processed wood.
