Wood oil Aqua colorless - 750ml

Wood oil Aqua of the SIKKENS brand in colorless color. Eco-friendly, water-based oil for untreated or already impregnated external wooden surfaces where the preservation of the natural appearance is required. Suitable for maintenance of garden furniture, outdoor floors, wooden windows, facades, window frames, etc. Due to the content of natural special oils, the product forms a strong water-repellent film. Cetol Wood Oil Aqua is not intended for use as an impregnant, therefore subsequent application of paint or varnish on treated surfaces is not possible.

FEATURES:

• Touch drying time: 2-4 hours. Application of the next layer: 12-24 hours after the previous one.

PREPARATION:
The surfaces must be clean, dry, dust-free and stable. Brush the old surfaces with a steel wire brush to remove any defective or poorly adhered materials, residual grease stains and dust.
Wash the surface with a suitable cleaning agent. If there are black spots from fungus or algae on the surface, then you need to disinfect and clean the surface with a mold and mildew cleaner. Rinse thoroughly with water and wait for surfaces to dry.

APPLICATION:
Stir well from the bottom before and during work with the product! Apply 1 layer of the oil evenly with a brush. Allow to dry within 5 to 30 minutes (depending on ambient temperature and humidity), then remove product residue that has not penetrated the surface with a cotton cloth. This will prevent the appearance of "shiny" spots on the treated surface. The product is intended to penetrate the treated surface, not to form an upper protective film. Do not apply at temperatures below 5°C and above 25°C. The product cannot be used on surfaces that have direct contact with food due to the content of fungicides in its composition!

ADVICES:

• For maximum durability, apply 3 coats of the oil.
• To maintain already treated surfaces, apply at least 1 coat of the oil at least once a year.
• Garden floors are recommended to be treated twice a year - spring and autumn.
• For best results, the product should be applied liberally with a brush. The use of applicators or paint rollers is not recommended, as they apply too thin a layer and this reduces the degree of penetration and adhesion of the product.
• Never apply to a heated wooden surface exposed to direct sunlight. Higher air humidity will extend the drying time of the product.

The oil is available in a package of 0.75 l.
