BOSCH's PointTeQ metal drill bits allow fast drilling in metal thanks to the PointTeQ tip.The self-centering tip prevents deflection, allowing drilling to start quickly and easily.Increased drilling speed generates less heat and less wear. Thanks to PointTeQ technology, the tip stays sharp and provides constant durability.
The drills are made of HSS steel. Due to the increased drilling speed, less heat is generated and wear is reduced. They are suitable for drilling through and centering holes in alloy and non-alloy steel, non-ferrous metals, cast steel, cast iron and plastic. They have a ground cylindrical gripping tail and are designed for use in drilling machines with stands and screwdrivers.
The risk of breakage is low because they have a highly elastic body. Their channels covered with black oxide provide quick removal of chips.
