Disinfectant for water Aktivsan - 1 liter, for pools and wells

BOCHEMIT's Aktivsan water disinfectant is a product that can be used as a perennial microbiocide against algae for pool maintenance, for disinfecting drinking water, and as a high-quality surface disinfectant.

The recommended consumption rate is about 20 ml for each cubic meter of water. The required amount of biocidal product is calculated according to the volume of water (in m3)to be treated, placed in a larger container and diluted with water, then applied to the surface of the treated water. Aktivsan contains sodium hypochlorite and should not be used with other products because it may emit hazardous gases.

Before using in a newly filled pool, it is necessary to measure the hardness of the water. During the first disinfection, 160 ml of Activsan is dosed for water for every three cubic meters of the pool volume. 80 ml per three cubic meters are added every week. If the pool is outdoor, the dosages are doubled. With prolonged heat and frequent use of the pool, it can be disinfected every 3 days.

Activsan for water can also be used as a high quality surface disinfectant. For this purpose, an aqueous working solution with a concentration of 10% is prepared. The surfaces are wiped until they are completely wet with a working solution and must remain wet throughout the exposure. The exposure time is about 30 minutes for bactericidal and fungicidal action and 60 minutes for virocidal action. After the exposure time, the surfaces that come into contact with food are rinsed thoroughly with drinking water. When treating large surfaces, before the access of people, the premises are ventilated until the specific odor disappears.
