Polypropylene fibers 12 mm

SIKA polypropylene fibers are specially treated fibers. They are available in bulk and packed in special, environmentally friendly bags that are self-dissolving. They are ready to use and can be mixed with concrete or mortars. Polypropylene fibers can be applied to large concrete foundations, slabs, tracks, places that are exposed to impact loads. They are also designed for mixing with mortars that require higher cohesion, when applied on sloping surfaces, for example. The fibers are especially suitable for the application of various sprayed solutions, characterized by a small depth, as well as for plasters or prefabricated elements.
The advantages and characteristics of Sika-Fibers are:
- improved cohesion during application,
- reduced cracking when the mixture is applied,
- Improved impact resistance and water resistance of solutions and substrates where the SIKA product is applied.
The consumption rate is nearly 1 package of 0.6 kg. fiber per cubic meter of concrete or construction mixture.
