Heat-resistant adhesive 5 kg Terracol

Heat-resistant adhesive of TERACOL, designed for masonry fireplaces. Its application is quite wide, covering a significant part of construction activities. It proves to be especially effective when chimneys, furnaces, hearths, etc. have to be built. Their masonry can be done with fireclay or industrial refractory bricks.The main advantages and qualities of the adhesive are:

• resistance to high temperatures up to 1200°C
• high temperature of initial deformation
• for internal and external application
• cold-resistant
• frost resistant

The working consumption of the solution is 4.5-5 kg/sq.m. The adhesive application surface must be thoroughly cleaned, dusted and dried. The package of 25 kg. mix with 7-8 liters of water to obtain the desired consistency of the solution. It is recommended that the operating temperature when applying the adhesive be in the range of +5°C to +30°C. The adhesive will not be effective enough when used to smooth curves with a thickness greater than 8 mm. It is not desirable to mix the solution with other similar mixtures. The adhesive can be applied with a suitable spatula.
