BAUMIT Proterm boards are made of extruded polystyrene-styrofoam and are widely used in integrated thermal insulation systems. They are characterized by their resistance to deformation, do not change their shape, do not shrink and are fire resistant. They are durable and do not change their properties even for a long time. Their thermal insulation characteristics are excellent, and their qualities have been proven by tests of international agencies, meeting the requirements of EN 13163 and ETAG 004.
When applying the polystyrene, the surfaces must be dry, clean, frost-free, dust-free, not hydrophobic, and free of crumbling parts. The working temperature must be at least +5°C. It is necessary to protect the treated facade from the influence of direct sunlight, rain and wind. Changes in humidity or temperature can affect the bonding process.
The thickness of the plates is 40 mm. Their length is 1000 mm and their width is 500 mm. Their fire reaction class is E (European class). The thermal conductivity coefficient is 0.035 W/mK., and the vapor permeability values are 20-40 μ.
