Baumit Concrete - Dry solution for concreting 25 kg

Factory-mixed, dry solution, for repair and restoration of non-structural, non-reinforced concrete elements, for use with relatively not very high operational requirements.

• Composition: Cement, sand fraction, additives.
• Properties: Baumit Concrete 8 mm is frost-resistant and suitable for all repair works, both for small and large areas.
• Application: All types of remedial work in the house and garden, for the restoration and/or replacement of defective non-structural concrete, as a base for foundations and driveways (with tiles), for filling holes and openings, with or without formwork, for garden fences, for flooring, for manholes, for supports, columns, shutters of doors and windows, for making ready-made concrete elements, etc.

Technical data:

• Grain size: 0-8 mm
• Compressive strength: ≥ 20 MPa
• Consistency during processing: hard-plastic (C1-F38)
• Dry bulk density: about 2000 kg/m3.
• Fresh water: about 11% (2.75 l water/bag)
• Consumption: 1 bag (25 kg) yields approx.12.5 l fresh solution (1. 25 m2/1 cm thickness)

Processing:

All concreting works are carried out in the usual way.Baumit Concrete 8 mm bag can be mixed by hand or in a gravity mixer.After mixing, the fresh solution must be transported as quickly as possible from the mixer to the construction site and laid without allowing it to stratify. Avoid pouring the mixture from a height of more than 1 meter. The laid solution must be compacted according to its consistency and smoothed. The addition of water is according to the desired consistency (it can vary from earthy to plastic). On average, about 2. 75 liters are needed for one bag. Use only clean tap water.

Guidelines and general applications:

The temperature (of the air, the base, the material) during the laying, as well as during the connection, must be above +5°C. Do not work on a frozen base, or when there is a risk of Baumit Beton 8 mm freezing.When applying the mortar (preparation, transport, laying and compaction, processing time, working joints, concreting in colder or warmer weather), we recommend that the Austrian standard ÖNORM B 4710-1 be followed.
