Self-leveling floor screed 25 kg CN68

The self-leveling screed CN68 is manufactured by CERESIT and is used for leveling and leveling:

• calcium sulfate bases,
• magnesite coatings,
• poured asphalt base coats,
• quick-drying screeds,
• cement-based surfaces,
• for securing older buildings.

The recommended thickness of the layers to be applied should not exceed 20 mm. In this way, perfectly smooth surfaces are obtained, on which carpets, linoleum, laminate parquet, as well as ceramic tiles can be placed. It is not recommended to use the self-leveling floor screed on metal or plastic bases. In order to obtain optimal results, it is necessary that the surface on which it is applied be dry, well cleaned, sound, not frozen, without cracks or particles that would prevent the application of the mixture.
As with other self-leveling mixtures, when applying the screed, it is desirable to remove any traces of wax, grease, bitumen, as well as stains of liquid oils that may be on the substrates. In this way, a better adhesion between CERESIT CN68 and the surfaces will be achieved. It is recommended to keep the mixture away from direct sunlight and hot air. The temperature of the base should be in the order of +15°C to +30°C. The time for applying the mixture should not exceed 40 minutes from the moment when water is added to the screed. The rate of consumption of the product CERESIT CN68 is about 1.5 kg/sq.m. The necessary amount of water that can be used for mixing with the screed is about 5 - 5.5 l.
